Testimonies
from the Fields
“My name is Vanesa Zacarias, I
am 22 years old and I am from the city of Chascomus. I have known
the Lord Jesus Christ for one year and five months. My life and
heart were empty and I couldn’t fill it with anything.
I passed through many trials and was suffering the entire time.
My life was a complete mess! One day everything collapsed and
I started to feel depressed. I would cry for hours for no reason!
One day I thought of committing suicide but I didn´t do
it because I understood that God was the only one who could take
my life away. I didn´t read the Bible but I believed in
God, and at night I would talk to Him not knowing I was praying.
My sister told me many times that I should go to the church but
I didn’t want to. She even gave me a Bible and the moment
I started reading it, I said to myself that it wasn´t for
me. My sister and her husband would go to the church and they
are still going today.
“One day I decided to go to church
because I couldn´t
find a solution for my sadness. When I heard the Word of God
my heart
rejoiced! I went out of church very happy but I hadn´t
yet heard the gospel so I didn´t know I was a sinner. I
was still lacking something and I didn´t know what it was!
I went back to the church the next week with my little sister,
because I did not want to go alone. We went to the church three
times on the same day because I didn´t know at what time
it would open. The third time we went it was opened! My younger
sister went to Sunday school and I waited for her outside. Laura,
who is one of the Sunday school teachers, told me that evening
they would have a service. Therefore, I went to it and one week
later I also went to the youth group. After the meeting, I accepted
Christ as my personal Savior because I understood that I was
a sinner and that the Lord was the only bridge to enter into
the Kingdom of God. I comprehended that only He could clean my
heart and that He shed His pure blood on my behalf so that I
might have eternal life.
“Since that day I have been going
to church and by the mercies of God I am saved! I want to grow
and serve Him for the
rest
of my life." Personal Comment: Vanesa was baptized
on March of 2009 and got involved in ministry right away. This
year she
began to collaborate
in the Sunday school ministry with Patricia Navalinskas. She
is a beautiful young lady willing to serve. - Pastor Alfredo

Fe Reodique is a
believer in our church. She has truly experienced the promises
of God in her life. Fe is married and has four children.
There was a time when she was so down and depressed because of
their dire financial situation and because she found out her
husband, who was supposed to be working and sending her and the
children money to live on, had been lying, not reporting to work
and picking up vices. In prayer, she asked God for help and wisdom.
He answered by using the lives of Minda and her mother to help
Fe. Minda’s mother needs care; she is bedridden and Minda
must work to support the family. So Minda and Fe are both equally
blessed by the Lord—Minda now has someone to care for her
mother and Fe has a means to support her family. God made a way
for Fe and revealed Himself as an ever-present help. God gave
her hope in her heart and she knows the future is in His capable
hands. All praises to God for all the things He has done in her
life.
– Pastor Teodoro Armamento, Bulacan, Philippines “I first believed in the Lord Jesus
Christ when I was 10 years old, after my Sunday school teacher
shared Jesus with me.
I met
Pastor Rey through Joey Jamisola two years ago. They visited
my family for nearly one year; we were Christians, but without
a church home. My father was the first one who talked with Pastor
Rey. My father told us we would visit Rainbow Alliance the following
Sunday. Pastor Rey has been a great help to me and my family.
He is the peacekeeper when my parents are in conflict. Many times
he helps my sister and me financially so we can attend school.
He encourages us to study and finish with high grades. Most especially,
he helps us grow in the Lord. The greatest challenge we face
is the fact that we live far from the church and it costs 100
pesos to go every week. This is a great burden, but I don’t
want to transfer to another church. I want to stay with this
family of believers. Please pray for us, that my sister and I
can finish school. Pray for work for our father and that our
mother will learn to live with what we have, being wise stewards.
We are blessed to have Pastor Rey. Please pray for our safety
as well. We live in an area filled with robbers and drug addicts.
We recently had our kitchen and laundry items stolen. I thank
God for giving me this opportunity to share my testimony with
you.” – Marco Macalinga
