“I came to know Jesus Christ through
a house-to-house evangelism done in our area by Pastor Asebuque’s
church. Together with his team, Pastor Asebuque challenged us
to heed God’s word. They have opened a weekly Bible study
in our house every Saturday. Pastor Asebuque has helped us to
grow in our newfound faith by teaching the basic doctrines of
the Bible. I have learned a lot from his teaching and have a
desire to know more of God’s word. Though we are poor materially,
the Lord has filled this empty place in our lives. He satisfies
my soul causing me to desire Him more. I have become prayerful,
asking God to provide all our needs. I desire to be used by God
in sharing His word with the lost. I am currently sharing my
faith with others and some of my relatives are coming to the
saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Please pray my wife
and children will be faithful in coming to church with me.”

Daniel Romano is a new believer who lives
in a small city called Seven Trees. He is one of the fruits of
our evangelistic
work.
His business is the only one in that area. He is also the only
one who has a vehicle. Many times he uses it as an ambulance.
Daniel is a relative of Reina, a member of our church who desires
to take the gospel to Seven Trees. It is wonderful to see the
hand of God working in Daniel’s life. When we went to this
city, Daniel gave us permission to project a movie and he also
opened his home in order for us to preach the gospel. We praise
God for raising up Daniel in order to make this event possible.
Please pray for him and his family and for all those who will
visit him.

The first time Vivian Pines attended
church, she said she was blessed by the message of placing our
trust
and faith in God.
She even tried to invite her husband, but he refused to go with
her. So, she attended church regularly with her two boys. After
about two months, her husband came. In the following months,
he was laid off from his job. Financially, they were drained.
The husband couldn’t bear the burden any longer so he left
Vivian and their children. Vivian was devastated, but it did
not stop her from attending church. She continually makes God
her source of strength. She has since learned that her husband
is living with another woman. There is nothing we can do to help
other than pray for her and encourage her. By God’s grace
she has overcome her troubles and has been able to find work
to support her children and herself. She is faithful to the Lord
and in His work. Please do include her and her children in prayer,
that they will grow in the Lord.
