“It is very interesting to know that one of the attendees of our Sunday afternoon cell group was once a Catholic seminarian. As the discipleship lessons went deeper into who Christ is, Inggoy wasn’t able to keep himself from asking about the commandment that says “You shall not worship them [idols] or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God…”

This verse disturbed him. Never in his life had he realized that God disapproved of his bowing to images. He was so filled with sorrow that he committed himself to bringing others to the group. Indeed, God’s word is sharper than any two-edged sword. He brought two of his co-workers and they have attended every week for the past month.”

" I praise the Lord for His faithfulness to my family. I am happily married with two sons. We’ve been at this church for nearly two years. My brother Levi is one of the church workers. He encouraged us to come to church after we experienced a spiritual drought at our former church. The body of Christ here is a wonderful family. Today, we are all workers. My mother leads the group of women over the age of 60 and I am one of the song leaders. My older son enjoys the Sunday school class. I thank the Lord for Pastor Reynold and for his spiritual leadership. He ministers to us in so many ways.

Please pray for my family and me as we are homeless due to the typhoon. We are temporarily staying in one of the rooms in the church. Praise the Lord for bringing us to this church! “ I thank God for healing me from a gum infection. I went to the dentist for a check-up and she told me that all of my teeth would need to be pulled because of infection. She said she would replace them with false teeth. I had no teeth for the entire month of November. I thank God I was able to receive my false teeth before Christmas. I also praise God for whoever provided all my medical expenses—including the payment for the false teeth. Glory to His name!” – Juliet Molina
