Testimonies
from the Fields
“I praise God for His work in the
life of Mr. Noel Castro. He came to our home seeking answers
about spiritual things. I have known him for a long time because
he is our neighbor. He is also an upstanding and well-known citizen.
His search for truth came about during the saddest part of his
life—when his wife died after giving birth to their child.
This death caused great sorrow within the Castro household. After
hearing about his eldest daughter’s illness, I prayed even
more diligently for the opportunity to witness to him. Finally
his sister, who is a devout Christian, encouraged him to seek
my spiritual counsel. We talked for many hours during which I
was able to explain the sovereign will of God. Pray he will continue
to open his home for Bible study and that he will grow in the
grace and knowledge of our Lord.”

Milanay, Rosario Batangas, Philippines “The technique we have been introducing to farmers in this
area has produced a good harvest. We really thank God because
the
farmers are really benefitting from it—not only in their
livelihoods, but in their spiritual lives. Praise God for this
approach to Bible study where we also teach these agricultural
lessons. Farmers are beginning to invite other farmers and all
are hearing and learning about God and His word.”

Elizer Alinio, Calbayog, Samar, Philippines “I praise God for teaching new believers to walk in His ways.
Mr. Paterno Ampuan and Mrs. Garita Ariap are two new believers
who are growing fast in the knowledge of our Lord. Both have
found joy in reading the Bible and are faithfully attending Bible
studies. They have both testified how God’s word has changed
their perspective on life. They have shared their victories in
overcoming temptations—especially their prior addictions
to gambling and alcohol. They are both thankful for the gift
of salvation in Christ Jesus and are now concerned for their
loved ones who are still lost. Please pray they will become living
witnesses of Christ’s love to their family members.” – Pastor
Mario Chavez, San Isidro, Northern Samar, Philippines
