Testimonies
from the Fields
“I am single and work in a computer
shop. I came from Visayas Island to find a job here in Metro
Manila. I attended a Christian church where I used to live, but
after I moved, I quickly forgot about going to church. I was
too busy with work. I even forgot to read my Bible. One day while
I was out walking, I passed by a church. I went inside; it was
the church of Pastor Daniel Casuga.
My faith in God is growing
as I attend their worship service. Pastor Daniel often comes
to my home and shares the word of God. My uncle (with whom I
live) is very polite to Pastor Casuga, even though he is not
a believer. I really appreciate the goodness and faithfulness
of our God and the help of my pastor. Some of the leaders of
the church have become my second parents. They are always there
to assist me in my troubles. Please pray for me as I share the
gospel with some of my friends, especially my customers at the
computer shop. Pray the Lord will give me words of wisdom and
that He will prepare the hearts of those with whom I share His
word. Pray also for the salvation of my parents. Presently I
am involved in our youth group.” – Reynalyn Dalmacio Reynalyn

" On June 13, 2009 I received Christ as my
personal Savior. After my divorce, I began having some tough
problems. My heart was grieved because I was now feeding six
children on my own. Every Sunday I would go to church in order
to hear the hymns and the word of God. This would bring comfort
to my heart. One day, my daughter’s friend talked to me
about Christ and His salvation and she invited me to their church.
It was there that I confessed my sin and received Him as Lord.
Today there are evident fruits in my life—temperament,
trust, love and peace. The church and its pastor have helped
me in wonderful ways. They received me with true love despite
my situation. They visited me and taught me great things about
God and His character. They made a tremendous impact on my life
and little by little, the oppressions of my soul are starting
to fade away.
My greatest struggle now is to stay firm,
serving God without fear. I want to be a stronghold for my family
and
a light to guide their lives. I wish they would know God and
have a relationship with Him. I am very thankful to the Lord
for all the blessings He has given me and for the new joy in
my life. I also praise Him for the opportunity I have to live
a new life and be a testimony to my family. Please, I would like
you to pray for my spiritual growth and for the salvation of
my family members. Before that day when I acknowledged Him as
King—my life was empty. But today, my spirit is renewed
and I want to worship Him every moment of my life and be a living
testimony of His infinite love. Thank you very much!” – Gilda

I praise
God for the life of Jay-R Flores. I met Jay-R at a Bible study
which
is held in his aunt’s home. He is 17 years old and has
not graduated from high school. His parents live and work in
Manila; he returned to Cebu because of their poverty in Manila.
Jay-R is an obedient and kind son. He shows respect to others,
yet he is influenced by his friends to smoke and drink. I invited
Jay-R to come to a Sunday worship service and he did. I shared
the gospel with him afterwards and he clearly saw his need for
Jesus Christ in his life.
Praise God Jay-R received Christ Jesus
as his Lord and Savior. I am glad to report that he is actively
involved in our service every Sunday, in our prayer meeting every
Thursday and in our youth fellowship every Sunday afternoon.
Truly, God is a God of second chances!”
