Testimonies
from the Fields
God protects and cares for all of my church members. We are all
in good health. One of my members was seriously sick in January
and was very sad that he had no money to see a doctor. I went to
him and encouraged him to trust God who is the true physician and
able to heal him. After that I prayed for him. A few days later
he was healed. He was very happy and shared, “At first I
was very upset for my sickness, because I have no money to go to
hospital. I could not buy any medicine, so I thought that I may
die soon. However, Pastor came and gave encouragement to me and
prayed for me. After that I had a hope in God and trusted that
He could heal me. Thus, after fervent prayers, the Lord healed
my sickness amazingly. Praise His name. The Lord is the best doctor
for me and for us all.” – Pastor Ling, Myanmar
I have
been focusing my time in training a new leader, Jun Languido. He
is working with his wife who is very supportive. According to Jun,
she was the one who encouraged him into full-time ministry. Jun
has such a shepherd’s heart for the people. God has transformed
him in amazing ways. Jun says, “[Before Christ] I didn’t
have hope. I thought I would just live today and tomorrow I would
die. But, my life was changed. Pastor Marlon shared the message
of God’s plan and He has been faithful to heal and provide
for my family’s daily needs. It was then I realized God is
interested in every detail of my life. Please pray for us as we
desire to be used by God in the ministry. Pray the Lord will bless
our work.” Give thanks to God! – Pastor Marlon Tabuzo,
Dimaslang, Masbate, Philippines
My youngest sibling, Michelle Faith
Sebua, is one of our workers. She is very well favored and blessed
by God. When she was 17 years old and in her second year of college,
she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The family was very worried
because the doctor also diagnosed her as having hydrocephalus;
the doctor was not optimistic. When her head had been shaved and
she was ready for surgery, one of our family members asked her
how she felt. She replied, “I’m ready for whatever
might happen. I believe God will do what’s best for me. If
God’s will is to take me at 17 years of age, I can do nothing.” These
were words that I heard firsthand and she had not one tear in her
eyes. After the operation, she was able to return to school and
is now able to walk. At present, Michelle Faith is 21, single and
serving the Lord as our children’s Sunday school teacher
and outreach teacher. She is very supportive and is very rich in
faith. Glory to God! – Pastor Ritchell Sebua, Escalante,
Negros Occidental, Philippines
