“My name is Jesus Bunday and I am 49 years old. My heart
is overwhelmed as I share with you how I came to know the Lord
Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. God began drawing
me through my son Ryan who is a member of a Christian church. Each
week when he came home from Bible study, he would share with me
what he had learned. I noticed that my son had become very caring
and obedient, spending his free time at church helping Pastor Andy.
God began to draw me closer through Pastor Andy who invited me
to attend the church dedication service in their new building.
Without hesitation, I accepted the invitation which resulted in
my receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. My son
was very happy. I continue to grow in the Lord as He works through
my weaknesses. I used to drink a lot, but now I am starting to
resist the temptation of drinking with my old friends. I am also
attending a Bible study. I truly thank the Lord for saving my soul
and making me His disciple.”

"
I received the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal
Lord and Savior through Pastor Chavez’s ministry. He never
stopped inviting me to church. At first I was very hostile because
I thought they were just another cult group. I thought that the
only true church was the Roman Catholic Church and that all others
were cults. However, my perspective changed when I found the Lord.
I now realize that a person can only be saved through faith in
what Jesus Christ did on the cross for our sins. Hence, we are
not saved by doing good works—salvation is grace and can
only be found in the person of Christ. I am thankful to God that
Pastor Chavez explained the word of God to me. He was also very
kind in letting me join [the church’s] livelihood program.
Please pray for me.
At present, I am having a hard time in letting
go of all my vices. I used to drink liquor with my friends. As
a Christian walking in the ways of the Lord, I know that drinking
liquor in that way does not please God. I am really committed to
doing away with my vices; but weak as I am, I sometimes give in
to the invitations of my friends. Please pray that the Lord will
give me the grace to overcome my weaknesses. Pray also that I can
share the gospel with my friends and relatives—most especially
to my family.” – Aida Lomosco Aida attends Pastor Mario

"I am Jelder, one of the youth
here in Matalom. I thank God for the life of Pastor Freddie Guinang
who serves as my spiritual guide and encourager. I am glad that
I came to know the Lord at this age. I want to give my life to
Him and be used for His glory. It is also my heart’s desire
to share the word of God with my relatives and other people. I
pray that God will give me the wisdom and the boldness to do this.
As of now, I serve God in any way I can. I know that without God
in my life, I am nothing."
