Testimonies
from the Fields
Salvation
"I came to know Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior
when I attended the camp last May. I learned that God is the One
who knows everything good for my life. There were so many things
in my life that changed after I came to know Him. Today, even though
I find difficulty in obeying God, still I continue following Him,
for I know that it pleases God. I also know that God is there to
help me change for His glory. I am now attending Living Word Christian
Fellowship and being mentored by Pastor Ruben Teorica. God uses
me today in the music ministry as a drummer and sometimes as a
guitarist. I find joy in serving God and pray that He will continue
to guide me as I grow in Him. It is my desire now to serve God
faithfully and share the gospel with my family.”

The Love Story of Arnel & Leslie
"I want
to share the love story of Arnel and Leslie; how God has transformed
them into new creations. Arnel was once a part of the gay culture
and struggling with his life. He was empty inside his heart. At
first, he thought that money and material things would make him
happy; he had short, unhappy relationships with other men. One
day his sister Juvy, who is a member of our church, invited him
to attend a prayer meeting at their home. He received Jesus Christ
that day and became a new man. God filled the emptiness in his
heart, and Arnel is continuing to grow spiritually. Leslie, a new
believer, is an answer to prayer for Arnel. They met, fell in love
and have had a Christian wedding with the full support of the church.
God knows the desire of Arnel’s heart to build his own family—a
confirmation of his changed life. Please pray that the Lord blesses
this young couple.” – Pastor Teodoro Armamento

From Idolotry to Surrendered Hearts
The
Narcisa family was once devoted to Roman Catholicism. Their house
was filled with idols of all sizes and in every corner. They prayed
and recited different rituals and traditions from sunup to sundown.
They diligently observed these practices. The wife testifies that
she would faithfully light candles and recite the Novenas on the
scheduled hour. This blindness to the truth went on for years until
the husband, Ramon, was assigned to a new military base. There
the Lord allowed Ramon to meet a Christian who shared the gospel
with him and later his family.
This new friend started a Bible
study in their home. Then God moved in the life of Ramon’s
wife, and she received God’s gifts of love and forgiveness.
She was also enlightened of her sin of idolatry. She got rid of
all the idols in their home. This confession of faith brought about
trials in the household because Ramon was not yet a believer. He
returned the idols to their places. His wife, convinced of the
truth, patiently prayed that God would touch her husband. After
two years, Ramon placed his trust in God and surrendered all the
idols at the foot of Jesus Christ. He has now been baptized and
is a member of our church. Praise God!! The Narcisa family attends
