STEP - August 2008

Filipino Church Planters to Receive Additional Training in Expository Preaching

In August 2007, STEP (Supplemental Training in Expository Preaching) was introduced to WF church planters in the Philippines. This August all WF pastors, including the new pastors from Philippine Rural Ministry, Inc., will gather together to receive instruction from White Fields staff and other Bible teachers. General Director Steve Wheeler will travel to Rizal to provide this essential training along with Doug Bookman.

Doug is a gifted Bible teacher and conference speaker who is presently an adjunct professor with Institute of Jewish Studies (www.bookmanministries.com). Doug will be teaching on “The Passion Week of the Life of Christ” and Steve will assist the men in their preparation of preaching selected passages from Romans.

At the conclusion of STEP, Steve and Doug will fly to Osaka, Japan where they will teach and minister to WF church planters before returning home.
