Dearest Brethren,
I want to make
known, through this final report, the Lord’s
provision through White Fields—which is composed of God’s
men and women who understand deeply the imperative of missions, especially
cultural missions.
In January 2006, we started Igreja Cristã Evangélica
Carandá Bosque, here in the city of Campo Grande, in the state
of Mato Grosso do Sul. We were blessed by your partnership. Even
when everything was still a dream—with many fears, uncertainties
and challenges that hovered in our minds—we knew we had (and
had indeed) during all this time, prayer partners. Each month we
wrote the reports, making note of our accomplished activities, dreams
and hopes, the reached lives, the victories and the defeats. All
of this was useful, not only in the church, but in our private lives.
I recently looked at my file of past reports—from
the beginning—and
I can say with much joy, as Samuel did in 1 Samuel 7:12, “Thus
far the Lord has helped us.” He has been our “stone
of help” in
all this—for the lives evangelized, for those who committed
themselves to Christ, for the ones who are gone, for the goals
reached. All of this is incredible! Ebenezer!
I would like to say
thank you for the privilege of being helped, not only by financial
provision, but mostly through the spiritual provision from the
true legion of intercessors in our favor during these past four
years. If we are where we are now, if we picked up fruits, if we
reached one more degree of maturity, if we managed not to do the
wrong thing at least, it is due in large part to your faithful
prayers and so many others who support us. Today
we have a mother church that tutors us in a loving and committed
way. We are cared for personally. My family grows safely; my children
Lucas (10) and Natália (8) are proud to be the children
of a pastor/missionary. We have been blessed by so many other
colleagues in the ministry. My wife, Lourdes, devotes herself exclusively
to the ministry. We are convinced of His calling to these people.

We
praise God for the work of White Fields in Campo Grande, and especially
in our lives. The work goes on, until the harvest. We have much
to sow yet. We go ahead in our mission. May you continue to believe
in the Lord’s provision upon you, blessing new lives
and new churches around the world.
Until He comes,
