Dr. Alex Granados was
born in Bogotá,
Colombia. He has been in the ministry since 1987 with extensive
cross-cultural ministry
experience among African Americans, Asians, Caucasians, and Hispanics.
He attended the University of California at Los Angeles and graduated
with a B.A. in Political Science focusing on International Relations
and Comparative Politics. He attended The Master’s Seminary
and graduated with a M.Div. and Th.M. in Systematic Theology. He
received his Ph.D. in Intercultural Education at Biola University.
Alex
received Christ while attending high school. Having grown up in
a devout Catholic home, he began to ask many questions about the
Bible but did not find the answers he was seeking. A friend invited
him to attend a Bible study at Grace Community Church in Sun Valley
California. He discovered a body of believers committed to the study
of the Bible. He was encouraged to attend a discipleship group where
he met several godly men who answered his biblical questions, leading
him to understand salvation by faith in Jesus Christ alone. Alex
says, “Praise God, I understood my sin, what Christ has
done, what God demands of me, counted the cost, and trusted Him.”
Alex
is an Assistant Professor of Intercultural Studies at The Master’s
College and Pastor of Discipleship Ministries at The Bridge Bible
Fellowship in Reseda, CA. He also teaches International Business
classes. Alex and his wife Dorian have been blessed with two wonderful
daughters, Emma and Sophia. We are blessed to have both of these
men join our board. |

Pastor Larry Goding and
his wife Donna reside in the Phoenix, Arizona area. Larry received
Jesus Christ at seven
years of age
through the ministry of his mother in Child Evangelism Fellowship
in West Chicago. He has degrees from Briercrest Bible College,
Southwestern College in Phoenix, Denver Seminary and Nova Southeastern
University. During 45 years of ministry he has specialized in ministry
with the physically and mentally disabled, has been a Director
of Christian Education and a Children’s Pastor, and served
as a Christian School Administrator. He currently ministers as
the Senior Pastor of Sun Village Community Church. Larry brings
a wealth of administrative and pastoral experience to our board.
Larry
and Donna have been married 46 years and have four grown children
and ten grandchildren. When Larry was a young boy his parents served
as missionaries on the Navajo Indian reservation out of Farmington,
NM. He worked with his brother and sisters to construct buildings
on the compound and learned to minister among the Navajo boys. Over
the years God has used Larry in several mission trips giving him
cross-cultural experiences.
“An emphasis on missions has always been a vital part of
my family life from as early as I can remember. As a pastor, I
believe that
attention to missions is crucial to the health of the local church.
White Fields provides excellent stewardship for the funds donated.
Supporting national church planters is a great method to expand
the ministry of spreading the gospel in foreign countries because
the
indigenous pastor already knows the language and fits into the
local culture. By creating a partnership with national church planters
and North American churches, the process of planting self-sustaining
churches overseas can be enhanced.” - Pastor Larry Goding
